The whole time I was working on this painting, I felt like I was in Venice, walking on the sidewalk and going in and out of the historic buildings. I love the bright colors in this painting, and the greens make me think of spring here in Upstate New York.

Thanks Julie for your nice comments and for voting on this piece. I am particularly fond of this piece myself and yes it was a very sad day when I finished it for this one. While working on this I lost a favorite horse so this got me through a pretty rough time.
