This is a lovely chapel located in Hamilton, New York. I have painted this chapel in each season as it brings life to the canvas throughout the year. I like how this watercolor draws you into the warm solace of the little country church which I depicted from a little country church which isn't far from my home. The snow is drifting quietly to the ground, there is light at the windows making this a very peaceful winter scene.

Growing up on a small family farm in Hubbardsville, New York, Charlotte can't remember not drawing or painting. As an only child, she entertained herself for hours on end, escaping into the world of art. At the age of 11, the family made a drastic move to Florida, where Charlotte continued to find solace in the art world and was fortunate enough to take drawing lessons with AE "Bean" Backus, a well- known Florida artist. He encouraged her to be unique and find her own style as he saw promise in her work and passion.
