I love painting arches, but here I didn't have one so I substituted an umbrella for my beloved arches. I like the vibrant colors and how your eye follows the twist and turns of the color red from the foreground to the background. I enjoy painting scenes of Annecy over and over again, when I do, I am there!
Growing up on a small family farm in Hubbardsville, New York, Charlotte canít remember not drawing or painting. As an only child, she entertained herself for hours on end, escaping into the world of art. At the age of 11, the family made a drastic move to Florida, where Charlotte continued to find solace in the art world and was fortunate enough to take drawing lessons with AE "Bean" Backus, a well- known Florida artist.
