Description
I took the photo, which became this painting, while visiting the lovely region of Bavaria and the the Bavarian Alps. This fountain is at Hohenschwangau Castle and sits across the valley from Neuschwanstein Castle "The Disney Castle."
The size and boldness of the lion make a dramatic statement against a backdrop of equal command.
I haven't given Germany enough attention as of yet, but promise to do so in the future, it is truly a fantastic country.
